Apparel & Soft Goods

Examples: T-shirts, hoodies, bags, blankets.

These can be decorated using methods like screen printing, embroidery, direct to film, dye sublimation, or heat transfers. We’ll suggest the best option for your project.

  • Most apparel is sourced blank and sent to a decorator.
  • You can order just one piece, but pricing is better in larger quantities because setup costs are spread across more items.
Screen Printing
  • Priced by the number of print locations and colors used.
  • Each color requires a setup (screen) fee.
  • Best for orders of 12+ pieces to be cost-effective.
Embroidery
  • Priced by stitch count, number of locations, and quantity.
  • One-time digitizing fee to convert your design for embroidery.
  • No repeat setup charge unless the design changes.
  • More cost-effective than screen printing for small orders.

Hard Goods

Examples: Tumblers, phone stands, notepads, magnets.

  • These are printed at the factory using machines.
  • Priced by the number of print colors, locations, and quantity.
  • Each logo/design requires a setup fee, so 1-piece orders are often not cost-effective.
  • Some suppliers offer low minimums—let us know if you only need one.

Incentive Items

Examples: High-end branded gifts like coolers, speakers, or luxury items.

  • Used for gifts, awards, or special promotions.
  • Usually available as single items, but are more expensive.
  • Often not decorated, as the value speaks for itself.

Typically branded merchandise is sold in bulk however, higher priced (incentive items) are typically available for a minimum order quantity of 1. In addition, we do have a handful of suppliers who offer items at a 1 piece order minimum. YES! Most products can have a pms matched imprint color, it depends on the decoration process. Many times, there is a charge to match a specific PMS color. Let the Branded Merchandise team member you’re working with know you want a pms match so we can incorporate the charges into your quote.

YES! We work with factories who can conceptualize, spec out and produce completely custom items. Typically custom orders are done overseas and take ~6 months from concept to delivery and have a high minimum order quantity.
