This is a lead-level role embedded within a key client account. The ideal candidate will oversee and execute a wide range of responsibilities that support the end‑to‑end production of orders and projects. This includes managing workflows, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring all client specifications are accurately translated into clear, actionable job tickets.
This position works extensively with printed materials such as direct mail, corporate brochures, seasonal catalogs, technical documents, and reports. The right candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to collaborate across departments, and the confidence to serve as the final quality checkpoint for proofs—verifying accuracy, adherence to standards, and overall production readiness while troubleshooting issues as they arise.
This role is central to maintaining efficient processes, upholding quality expectations, and guiding a team to meet production deadlines. We’re looking for someone who is detail‑oriented, highly organized, and skilled at motivating others in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate assembly line operations to meet production targets while maintaining high quality standards.
- Supervise and support production team members, providing guidance on best practices and safety protocols.
- Collaborate closely with Account Coordinators and Sales Teams, while also maintaining direct communication with clients as needed.
- Perform quality control on incoming products, including receiving, inspecting and completing any required handwork.
- Accurately documenting inspection results by entering information into spreadsheets, taking photographs, organizing files into designated folders and forwarding documentation to clients.
- Review job tickets for accuracy and clarity. While this role does not create job tickets, it requires strong comprehension of written instructions and the ability to execute them precisely.
- Communicate production requirements to ensure each job or order is completed accurately and delivered on schedule.
- Monitor materials and orders as they move through the order management system and/or warehouse management system, ensuring smooth workflow and timely processing.
- Completing any required handwork.
- Perform quality control on incoming products, including receiving, inspect Operate and oversee the use of forklifts, power tools, hand tools, and other essential equipment for manufacturing tasks.
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures by conducting regular inspections of the manufacturing floor and warehouse areas.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot mechanical issues and optimize equipment performance.
Education & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in fulfillment or logistics is a plus.
- 1+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fulfillment, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to supervise and/or manage and motivate a team effectively.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with fulfillment processes, kitting operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet in a dynamic environment.
- Basic computer skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods during shifts.
- Comfortable lifting up to 30 lbs. as needed.
